The Chancery Rosewood opened on 1 September 2025 at 30 Grosvenor Square in Mayfair, London. It occupies the former US Embassy, a Grade II listed building that Eero Saarinen designed in 1960. Sir David Chipperfield led the restoration and Qatari Diar Europe LLP developed it. The gilded eagle sculpture by Theodore Roszak, made from B-52 bomber aluminium, overlooks the square.

The hotel is all suites, 144 of them, in Junior Suite, Suite, Signature Suite and House categories, with two penthouses on the seventh floor. Joseph Dirand led the interiors, and the consultancy Cramer & Bell chose about 700 artworks. Every stay includes flexible check-in and check-out times and the use of a House Car for transfers.

Eight restaurants and bars include Carbone, its first European outpost, then SERRA, JACQUELINE, TOBI MASA, GSQ and the rooftop EAGLE BAR. Asaya Spa fills 1119 square metres underground, with a 25 metre pool, five treatment rooms and the Taktouk Clinic. The Grand Ballroom takes up to 750 guests. Bond Street station is a five minute walk away.

“Today, 1st September, London's newest cultural destination, The Chancery Rosewood, makes its much-anticipated grand opening”
