A directory of the world's new luxury hotels, with the date each one opens and the page that date was read on.
What it is
The New Grand lists luxury hotels, resorts and villa estates that opened from 2025 onward or are still to open: 159 of them today, in 45 countries, opening 2025 to 2030. Each has its own page with the opening date, the operator's own words about it, the facts the operator has published (rooms, designer, dining, spa, address, rates where printed) and the operator's own photographs.
It is not a review site. No stays are claimed, no scores are given. The pages describe, source and date; the judgement is yours.
Where the facts come from
Every fact comes from the hotel's, operator's or brand's own pages: a press release, a newsroom, the hotel's site, an investor document, or material the hotel sends. Nothing is taken from aggregators, review sites, other directories or search snippets. Every fact on a hotel page links to the page it was read on and carries the date it was last read.
Opening dates slip. Each week a script re-reads every opening source page and checks that the operator's wording is still there, and a weekly pass reads the operators' newsrooms for new openings, delays and confirmations. When a stated date passes without the operator confirming an opening, the page says so rather than guessing. Last check: 1 November 2026.

Photographs
The photographs are the operators' own press images of each hotel, or Creative Commons photographs of the actual building, each credited and linked to the page it came from. A rendering is labelled as one. A hotel without a usable image is not published until it has one.
How the site earns
Hotel links may go through Stay22, which can pay this site a commission when a booking follows, at no cost to you. Nothing else is sold, no hotel pays to be listed, and no listing is changed for money.
Who makes it
The New Grand is made by Daniel, who also publishes the Roam city sites, beginning with Roam Tokyo. It opened on 31 October 2026.
