Regent Bali Canggu is the first Regent in Indonesia. IHG's release of 26 November 2025 says it is now open on the shores of Canggu, between the Indian Ocean and the terraced hills of Balinese rice fields. The resort has 150 oceanside rooms and suites, many with direct lagoon access, and the 618 sqm Penthouse has its own 30 sqm private beachfront infinity pool.
WATG Architects designed the resort, with interiors by Hirsch Bedner Associates and landscape design by John Pettigrew. Six dining venues cover Balinese, Asian and international cuisine. Chef Andrew Walsh leads two of them: Sazón, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant on Batu Bolong, and Cure Bali, which the release said would open in early 2026. Taru serves Indonesian dishes, and there is also a beach house, a pool bar and a lounge.
The resort carries what IHG calls the world's first Regent Spa. It has seven treatment rooms, a vitality pool, ice baths and saunas, and a signature massage performed on a warm quartz sand bed. A 24-hour health club has a yoga studio and a gym.
The hotel is owned by PT Canggu International and managed by IHG. An earlier IHG release, from July 2025, gives the opening year as 2024.
“The first Regent in Indonesia is now open on the shores of Canggu.”
