Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is planned for the southwestern tip of Phu Quoc Island and will be the first Park Hyatt resort in Vietnam. Hyatt's latest word, in its release of August 25, 2026, is that it will open in 2026, and an earlier release said late 2026. The date has moved repeatedly: Hyatt's 2019 announcement said 2022, its December 2024 list said 2025, and releases in 2025 said the first and then the second quarter of 2026.

The 2019 announcement described 110 keys and 65 residences, developed with an affiliate of BIM Group, and a design inspired by traditional Vietnamese villages. Hyatt's July 2025 release describes a 160-acre site bordered by a mile-long white sand beach and hills, 30 minutes by road from Phu Quoc International Airport. Facilities listed are two dining outlets, a bar, a pool side barbecue, two swimming pools, a lakeside spa, a gym house with a lap pool, a Camp Hyatt kids' village, more than 4,300 square feet of event space and an organic farm.
