Opens in 2027
The operator reports building work under way.
The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel is set to open in mid-2027, ready for the summer season, according to the operator's release of May 7, 2026. The Park became the first five-star hotel in Gstaad when its doors opened in 1910. It is owned by Dona Bertarelli, and Squircle Capital is leading the refurbishment.
French interior designer Joseph Dirand, who also designed the interiors of Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club, is leading the work on the interiors. The hotel will reopen with 75 rooms and suites, including a collection of Penthouse Residences managed by Four Seasons and available for purchase.
Seven restaurants and lounges are planned, ranging from a modern live fire grill to Japanese omakase and Swiss classics. The spa will have two treatment rooms dedicated exclusively to Clinique La Prairie, and the hotel will have indoor and outdoor pools. It is a short walk from the Gstaad Promenade, a five-minute drive from the train station and a two-hour drive from Geneva.
The operator's wording, “The property is anticipated to reopen as The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel in time for the 2027 summer season.”, was read on its own page and last checked 31 October 2026.
