Palazzo Sozzini Malavolti will open in April 2027, according to the hotel's own page. That is later than Accor's earlier statements, which gave mid-2026 in July 2025 and later in 2026 in November 2025. It will be an Emblems Collection hotel in Siena with 38 rooms and suites, 27 of them suites.

The palazzo dates from the 15th century and takes its name from two noble families, the Sozzini and the Malavolti. Its 19th-century frescoes were commissioned by the Sozzini family, and Agostino Fantastici reimagined the grounds as Romantic gardens for the Malavolti. The address is Via di Pantaneto 45, a short walk from Piazza del Campo. Rooms start at 23 square metres for the Classic Room and rise to the 100-square-metre Emblematic Suite under full frescoes.

Fantastici Restaurant & Bar will serve seasonal Tuscan dishes, with a Garden Bar over the valleys, a 20-seat wine temple and The Emblematic Table, a fire-led venue for up to 12 guests. The Purist Retreat & Spa sits in the palazzo's old caves, with a hammam, a salt room, a vitality pool and a garden pool. The Fantastici Room hosts up to 70 guests.

“Step into a Renaissance palazzo of reverie and romance. Palazzo Sozzini Malavolti will open in April 2027.”
