Opens in 2026
Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is due to open in 2026. Hilton's wording on October 7 was "later this year". It will occupy Admiralty Arch, a Grade I listed monument on The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace that, Hilton says, will welcome overnight guests for the first time in its history. Reservations opened on June 17 for stays from 1 March 2027.
Sir Aston Webb designed the building for King Edward VII, who commissioned it in memory of Queen Victoria, and construction was completed in 1910. It has housed the First Sea Lords' residences and, latterly, the UK Government's Cabinet Office. Reuben Brothers, in partnership with Hilton, is restoring it.
Hilton's room count differs between releases: 114 rooms, suites and residences in June, then 100 rooms and suites plus 17,500 square feet of residences in September. The Nelson Suite, St James's Residence and Victory Residence take their names from the building's naval heritage.
Coreus will be Clare Smyth MBE's fine dining restaurant, with menus built on seafood, British produce and seasonal ingredients, in the former home of the First Sea Lord. Daniel Boulud will open Café Boulud on the rooftop. Inception Group is adding The Admiral's Mess, a 60-seat bar. OSKIA, a British skincare brand, is the exclusive spa partner.
The operator's wording, “Anticipated Opening Date: 2026”, was read on its own page and last checked 31 October 2026.
